Barista Lavazza has launched India’s first-of-its-kind ‘Coffee Table Book 2013’ bringing one of its most innovative property launched earlier in the year – the Click-a-Coffee contest.

The Coffee Table Book 2013 represents and gives credit to more than fifty images taken by budding photographers – shortlisted from the various entries of amateurs, beginners and the learners – keeping the Barista Lavazza cup as an intrinsic part of the image. Inaugurated and judged by India’s ace photographer Pradeep Dasgupta, the activity is Lavazza’s way of re-creating the magic of the international Lavazza calendar, which is popular globally.

Mr. Nilanjan Bhattacharya, COO, India and SAARC, Barista Lavazza, said, “We are happy and proud to release India’s first Coffee Table Book 2013, which has given due recognition and cognizance to the work and photographic vision of amateur photographers”.

 He also added that, “We have always brought in some of the most innovative and creative promotions for our patrons and this campaign, yet again, was our way of engaging with them, while also giving them a platform to showcase their excellence. I thank Pradeep Dasgupta for lending his expertise in selecting the images for the book”.
