Cooking Reality Show by Chef Kapoor

Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor is set to host a new cooking reality show ‘Sanjeev Kapoor Ke Kitchen Khiladi’ on Sony Entertainment Television. Started on 6^th September each episode of the show will feature a family taking on a chef to cook up dishes that have been the family’s culinary pride.

The cook-off will be between ordinary families and a professional chef. Both the side will cook and present the same dish to the judge, Chef Kapoor for the final verdict. The show will also give viewers an opportunity to learn interesting recipes as a part of the “Dish of the Day” in each episode.

Chef Kapoor said, “I have always believed and thought that food is not niche. It is a specialty but it is mass. I want people to view it like that and I am glad that Sony is supporting us in this endeavour.”

The culinary battle will feature families from all over the country. The renowned chefs standing against the families are Harpal Singh Sokhi, Ajay Chopra, Mexican food specialist Vikas Seth, India’s youngest TV chef Saransh Goila and continental food specialist Rahul Kulkarni.     

“The concept is very interesting. It will be fun to watch the differences between the cooking of professional chefs and a normal housewife and to see who wins”, added chef Kapoor.
