Drone' for delivery

Francesco's Pizzeria, the eatery located at Lower Parel, Mumbai has come up with an extraordinary strategy to deliver pizza. Recently it has used unmanned drone to deliver the pizza to avoid traffic on the roads.

Speaking on the same, Mikhel Rajani, Chief Executive, Francesco's Pizzeria, said, “We successfully carried out a test-delivery by sending a pizza to a customer located 1.5 km away from our outlet on May 11. This was only a test-flight but its results confirm that it can be used routinely in a few years.”

The outlet used the drone to deliver pizza from central Mumbai's Lower Parel area to a high-rise building in adjacent Worli area.
