Shangri-La Eros New Delhi is hosting a three-day culinary event at Shang Palace, featuring Hutong Dubai from September 13 to 15, 2024. Hutong, established in Hong Kong in 2003, is known for its modern Northern Chinese cuisine. It was the first Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to receive a Michelin star and has since garnered numerous awards. This event marks Hutong's debut in India at the 39th Shang Palace worldwide.
Hutong, now with five locations including Dubai, is celebrated for its combination of Shanghainese and Sichuan flavors. This special event will blend Shang Palace's refined setting with Hutong's innovative take on Northern Chinese cuisine. The limited-time event will transform Shang Palace into a venue for exploring Sichuan’s bold spices and Beijing’s refined techniques.
Hutong’s approach merges traditional recipes with contemporary methods. The event will feature a range of dishes reimagined from age-old recipes, utilizing high-quality ingredients.
Abhishek Sadhoo, GM of Shangri-La Eros New Delhi said, "We are excited to host Hutong Dubai at Shang Palace for this unique three-day event. This collaboration showcases the best of Northern Chinese cuisine, blending age-old traditions with modern elements. We’re offering our guests an extraordinary dining experience."
