Jubilant FoodWorks, the operator of Domino's Pizza in India, is planning to make India the largest overseas market for the US-based restaurant chain Domino’s by adding more stores.
Speaking on the same, Ajay Kaul, CEO, Jubilant FoodWorks, said, "We will be the largest market for Domino's outside the US and target to achieve it in the next six months. The US has close to 5,000 stores. At present, we have around 750 stores. As and when we reach the number of 800-plus stores, is when we would be the largest market outside of the US.”
The food services firm, which also runs Dunkin' Donuts, today has announced the launch of two stores of the world's leading baked goods and coffee chain in Delhi. the firm also has a plan to open at least 25 stores expanding to Bangalore, Pune and other major cities in south.
