McDonald’s introduces a range of Royale burgers for adults at almost 20 percent more than its existing range. The new burgers are priced at Rs 130 and Rs 135.
Speaking on the same, Kailash Agarwal, Director, New Business Channels, McDonald's (North & East), said, "Our positioning is clear. We are more than a value brand with products available for everyone.”
The move will also help Big Mac counter rival American chain Dunkin Donuts, which has launched big-sized 'tough guy' burgers at Rs 130-Rs 175 as part of a larger exercise to woo adults into its stores last year.
Rameet Arora, Senior Director, Marketing and Menu Management, Hardcastle Restaurants, said, "We have seen rising demand from customers for wholesome products that they can have as complete meal at lunch or dinner time.”
