Now Zomato's customers can pay online for their order through Freecharge

Zomato has joined hands with online payment service provider Freecharge to equip its customers with an option of paying online for their food orders. Currently, this service will be available in 10 cities but after some time, the company plans to spread this option to other destinations as well.

On an average, Zomato receives 32,000 orders every day; the latest inclusion will make the entire ordering process handy as the payment option is just a click away. Commenting on the move, Sudeep Tandon, Chief Business Officer, Freecharge stated that the company is excited to join hands with one of the fastest growing online food ordering services Zomato. Through this partnership, Freecharge will be able to offer our fast and secure digital payment expertise to the large customer base of Zomato and gain wider acceptance as a payment option.

Echoing the same essence, , Mukund Kulashekaran, Business Head, online ordering, Zomato said that company’s online ordering business has been seeing tremendous growth month on month. With online payments gaining a larger share of the overall transactions, Zomato is excited to partner with Freecharge wallet as an online payment option for brand’s users, and look forward to a long term association with them.
