Reliance Brands Opens India’s First Armani/Caffè at Jio World Plaza

Reliance Brands Ltd. (RBL), the global brand arm of Reliance Industries, has introduced India’s first Armani/Caffè at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai’s largest luxury mall located in the Bandra Kurla Complex. The launch was announced by Sumeet Yadav, head of Hamleys and Pret India at RBL, on social media.

Another dream takes shape as we open our doors to India’s first and world’s 5th Armani/Caffe, proud of what the team has achieved here,” Yadav stated in his LinkedIn post, sharing images of the new location.

Jio World Plaza features a selection of high-end restaurants and cafes, including Si Nonna’s, Ladurée, Café and Meal Muji, Gatsby’s Bar, and Pret A Manger, alongside luxury outlets like Bulgari, Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent.

Armani ventured into the food and beverage sector in 1998 with a Paris restaurant and has since opened over 20 restaurants globally under Giorgio Armani’s leadership. Reliance Retail, which already partnered with Giorgio Armani to retail the Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, and EA7 brands in India, is expanding its offerings in response to rising demand for premium café experiences among affluent young consumers.

RBL, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd., has established exclusive partnerships with brands such as Bottega Veneta, Tiffany and Co., Valentino, Versace, and Balenciaga. With over 90 brands and more than 900 stores in its portfolio, the company is continuing to strengthen its presence in the luxury segment.
