The investment would allow Bira to accelerate plans to launch its products in Japan later this year.

B9 Beverages' sales climbed to Rs 161 crore from Rs 32 crore in FY17, in which the company had posted a net loss of Rs 55 crore.

In May this year, the company said it was eyeing sales of Rs 150 crore this fiscal and have presence in 15 cities.
