Universal Success Restaurants, a sub-vertical of Universal Success Enterprises Limited (USEL), has announced an ambitious expansion plan to open 75 new TGI Fridays restaurants across South Asia and Southeast Asia by 2030. This development marks a significant step for the global casual bar and grill chain, with new outlets strategically positioned in malls, high streets, corporate parks, and hotels in major metropolitan areas.
The expansion will include over 50 TGI Fridays outlets in India and additional locations in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. Universal Success Restaurants has formed a key partnership with Feastary Hospitality to manage the master franchising rights for North India, which will bring TGI Fridays to cities such as Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and other regions with over 15 planned franchises.
Suman Dutta, CEO and Additional Director of Universal Success Restaurants, highlighted the company’s vision: “We’re set to revolutionize dining across South Asia and Southeast Asia with TGI Fridays. Our partnership with Feastary Hospitality is crucial to bringing this vision to North India.”
To support the expansion, Universal Success Restaurants has partnered with supply chain and logistics experts to ensure smooth operations for the new TGI Fridays locations in India. According to Dutta, “We are excited about exploring additional partnerships across South Asia and Southeast Asia to ensure TGI Fridays delivers a truly meaningful experience in every region.”
TGI Fridays, known for its casual dining experience and American food, currently operates nearly 550 restaurants across 44 countries. Universal Success Restaurants is also considering expansion into Tier ll cities, aiming to extend TGI Fridays' presence and bring its dining experience to more regions.
Universal Success Restaurants is the hospitality arm of USEL, a Singapore-based company with operations in sectors including mega township development, data centers, logistics parks, and renewable energy across South and Southeast Asia.
