Amitava founded XpressBees in 2015 and, as its CEO, has led its overall operation and business development to grow it to become the fastest growing logistics company in India. In 2010, Amitava co-founded FirstCry.com, India's biggest retailer for babies and kids as its Co-founder and COO. Till date he continues to be on the board of the company. Previously, Amitava has held senior management positionsat Brainvisa TechnologiesanE-learning platform and Future Software a telecom software company. He has also worked with leading names like Tata Steel and NIIT Technologies.

Amitava received his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Varanasi and his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
