As contactless deliveries becomes the new way of buying post lockdown, customers are resorting towards online channels to make the purchase. Ecommerce players are upping their capabilities to fulfil this surge. It would seem that the coronavirus is accelerating the structural changes we've been seeing across retail and society for the last decade — toward online interaction, toward e-commerce and away from brick and mortar, more towards direct-to-consumer and less from stores.
