The new hotel strengthens the brand’s presence in Germany and the wider DACH region while supporting its international expansion strategy.

Located on the southern bank of the Main River, the property offers 104 rooms and provides convenient access to Frankfurt’s financial district, cultural attractions, and international airport. The hotel features a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar, wellness facilities, and dedicated meeting and event spaces. The opening marks the latest addition to the Vienna House by Wyndham portfolio, a brand known for combining local identity with contemporary hospitality experiences across Europe.

Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts said, “Frankfurt is a city that brings people, ideas and opportunities together, making it one of Europe’s most dynamic destinations for both business and leisure travel. The property was originally converted from an office building in 2019 and has now been repositioned under the Vienna House by Wyndham brand. The hotel incorporates elements of the building’s history through photographs, architectural plans, and archival material displayed throughout the property. One of the meeting spaces, the Alexander boardroom, is named after Alexander Tesler, the building’s architect, developer, and owner. The room features his original marble conference table, reflecting the property's historical connection and architectural heritage.

Tim Lichtenberg, Managing Director, Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South said, “Having previously worked with the Vienna House by Wyndham brand, I have experienced first-hand, how its individual character and approach to storytelling can turn a stay into a distinct experience. At Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South, our ambition is to bring that philosophy to life in a way that feels authentic and unmistakably connected to the building's own history. From the traces of its transformation over the years to our new meeting and event spaces and a rooftop well known across the region for its skyline views and restaurant, every element is designed to encourage guests to connect and experience Frankfurt from a different perspective. We look forward to welcoming international travellers and local guests alike, creating memorable moments that extend well beyond an overnight stay.”

The hotel’s food and beverage offering includes The Blasky restaurant, which serves regional cuisine alongside a daily breakfast buffet. The rooftop bar offers views of Frankfurt’s skyline and is designed for both hotel guests and local visitors. The company also plans to add 35 rooms by the end of 2027, increasing the hotel’s total inventory from 104 rooms to 139 rooms and suites.

Dolce Nova Debuts as Wyndham Expands Lifestyle Hospitality Portfolio
Dolce Nova Debuts as Wyndham Expands Lifestyle Hospitality Portfolio

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has introduced Dolce Nova, a new upper-upscale hospitality brand positioned as an extension of Dolce Hotels and Resorts by Wyndham. Inspired by the Italian concept of il dolce far niente, meaning “the sweetness of doing nothing,” the new brand is designed to cater to the growing demand for experience-led travel, wellness-focused stays and lifestyle hospitality.

Dolce Nova aims to offer travellers a more intentional approach to travel, focusing on connection, wellbeing and local experiences. The brand will join the expanding upper-upscale lifestyle hotel segment, while building on the heritage of Dolce Hotels and Resorts, which has traditionally focused on meetings, events and resort experiences.

According to Wyndham, changing consumer preferences are reshaping the luxury and hospitality sectors, with travellers increasingly seeking authentic experiences, cultural immersion, personal wellbeing and stronger connections with destinations. The company said Dolce Nova has been developed to address these evolving travel trends while providing hotel owners and developers with a differentiated hospitality offering backed by Wyndham’s global network.

Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts said, “Dolce delivers on a simple idea: that where people come together matters. Over time, we've seen travellers place greater value on something that often feels in short supply: time. Time to slow down, to be present, to reconnect with loved ones, and to experience destinations in a more meaningful way. Dolce Nova is a natural extension of the Dolce family, bringing its ethos into the upper-upscale lifestyle segment through design and experiences inspired by il dolce far niente and the simple luxury of time well spent. As demand for meaningful, experience-led travel continues growing, Dolce Nova offers owners and developers a distinctive new opportunity, combining European-inspired design, curated social experiences and a strong sense of place with the scale, technology and commercial power of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.”

Wyndham said multiple discussions regarding potential Dolce Nova properties are already underway across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The brand has been developed to support both hotel conversions and new-build projects.

Dolce Nova will also benefit from Wyndham’s global distribution network, hospitality technology platform and Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme, which has more than 126 million enrolled members worldwide. The launch comes as the global lifestyle hotel market continues to grow, with industry forecasts projecting significant expansion over the coming decade.

The 130-room hotel will be operated by InnPractice and is expected to join the JdV by Hyatt brand portfolio by the end of 2026, marking the brand’s debut in the United Kingdom.

Located within walking distance to Witney’s historical center, approximately 15 miles west of Oxford and within reach of the Cotswolds, the hotel is undergoing an extensive transformation designed to reflect the character and heritage of its surroundings. The hotel’s guest experience and interiors will draw inspiration from Witney’s longstanding wool-making heritage, the hand-made spirit of the Arts & Crafts movement and a local sense of place, woven throughout the interior design.

The planned addition of Oxford Witney Hotel to the JdV by Hyatt brand portfolio will introduce an upscale lifestyle hotel designed to connect guests with the local community and character of Witney and the wider Oxfordshire and Cotswolds regions.

The hotel will feature 130 guestrooms, a restaurant and bar, both sourcing produce from local suppliers, and 1,205 sqft of flexible meetings and events facilities, with the ability to host up to 90 guests.

As the largest market town in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, Witney offers a distinctive setting for the first JdV by Hyatt hotel in the UK. Its location provides access to both the university city of Oxford and the wider Cotswolds, creating a base for guests looking to experience the culture and character of the region.

Oxford Witney Hotel offers a lively, well-connected base for experiencing Oxfordshire. Guests can browse Witney’s twice-weekly market, independent shops and local food scene, catch live music, theatre, comedy or talks at the Corn Exchange – a 19th-century arts venue in Market Square – or discover nearby Cogges Manor Farm, a Downton Abbey filming location. Walkers and nature lovers can follow the River Windrush to Witney Lake and Country Park or plan day trips to Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Minster Lovell Hall and the villages and landscapes of the surrounding Cotswolds.

“Bringing the JdV by Hyatt brand to the UK will be an important milestone for the brand and a natural fit for Witney – a destination with a strong identity and sense of place,” said Anna Corkill, RVP Development UK & Ireland, Hyatt. “Together with CL Capital and InnPractice, we are creating a hotel that reflects the character of the local community while giving guests a distinctive new way to experience Oxfordshire.”

“This is a landmark moment for both InnPractice and for the JdV by Hyatt brand’s upcoming arrival in the UK,” said Graham Norris, Managing Partner, InnPractice. “Oxford Witney Hotel is a compelling setting for the brand’s debut: a characterful market town with its own identity, strong connections to Oxford and the Cotswolds, and real potential to become part of the local social fabric.”

InnPractice has been appointed by CL Capital to operate the hotel following its expected transition to the JdV by Hyatt brand. The company works with hotel owners, investors, global brands and independent hotels to create high-performing hospitality businesses through operational leadership, commercial expertise, technology and a trusted collective of specialist partners.

The JdV by Hyatt brand offers a collection of independent hotels. Sterling Expands its Kumaon Circuit with Sterling Lake View Sattal
Sterling Expands its Kumaon Circuit with Sterling Lake View Sattal

Sterling Holiday Resorts, one of India's leading hospitality companies, has announced the launch of Sterling Lake View Sattal, its newest resort in Uttarakhand. With this addition, Sterling now operates 12 resorts in Uttarakhand and 80 resorts across India, further strengthening its presence in one of the country's most diverse hospitality markets.

Located in Kumaon, Sattal derives its identity from its remarkable cluster of seven freshwater lakes set amidst forested hills. Rich in birdlife and biodiversity, the destination has retained a quieter and more intimate character than many of Kumaon's established hill destinations—offering travellers a compelling combination of lakes, forests, nature and slower travel.

The 24-room Sterling Lake View Sattal, located close to Sattal Lake, has been designed around this sense of place. With lake-facing rooms and an intimate scale, the resort provides a base for families, couples and nature enthusiasts to experience Sattal through birdwatching, forest walks and outdoor experiences rooted in the surrounding landscape.

Its location also provides convenient access to Bhimtal, Nainital, Kainchi Dham and Naukuchiatal, making Sattal a natural base from which to discover the wider Kumaon region. The launch reflects Sterling's evolving Destination Architect philosophy—looking beyond the addition of individual hotels and resorts to understand what makes a destination distinctive, developing experiences around that character, and connecting destinations into larger travel circuits.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts, said:"We increasingly look at expansion through the lens of a Destination Architect. The question is not simply where we can add another hotel, but what is distinctive about a destination, what experiences can be built around it, and how it connects with the larger journeys of our guests.

Sattal is a good example. Its seven lakes, forests and rich biodiversity give it an identity quite different from the more established hill destinations of Kumaon. Sterling Lake View Sattal allows us to bring that character alive through nature, birding and slower travel, while connecting it naturally with Bhimtal, Nainital, Kainchi Dham and the wider Kumaon region. Uttarakhand demonstrates this strategy particularly well. Sterling's presence in the state today spans mountains, forests, wildlife, rivers, wellness, pilgrimage, adventure and lakes. Sattal adds a distinctive lake-and-forest dimension to this network.

The opportunity is therefore larger than adding another location to Sterling's map. The established hill appeal of Nainital, the lakes of Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal, the spiritual significance of Kainchi Dham and the surrounding forests and mountain landscapes create multiple reasons to travel within Kumaon.

Sterling Lake View Sattal adds another distinctive node to this network—helping travellers experience the quieter, nature-rich side of Kumaon while remaining connected to its better-known destinations. This reflects a broader shift in Sterling's expansion strategy: from building presence through individual properties to building depth through connected destinations.

At the heart of Sterling's destination architect philosophy is a simple belief: the property provides the platform, but the destination provides the content. At Sattal, this means building the guest experience around what makes the destination distinctive—its lakes, forests, birdlife, local culture and slower rhythm of travel. Guests can explore the surrounding landscape through nature-led experiences and dine at Sattal Bistro, the resort's in-house restaurant, complementing the destination-led stay with Sterling's signature warmth and hospitality.

Commenting on the association, Abhijit Agrawal, Partner, Arthouse Hotels LLP, said:"Sattal has retained a sense of tranquillity that is increasingly rare in the more established hill destinations, and that is precisely what we wanted this resort to preserve. Our association with Sterling brings together the property's unique lake-side setting with the reach and operating expertise of an established hospitality brand. We believe this partnership will help introduce more travellers to Sattal while building the resort as a distinctive nature-led stay in the Kumaon region."

The Sattal launch therefore represents more than the addition of another resort to Sterling's growing portfolio. It demonstrates how the company increasingly intends to build its network. The property becomes the node. The destination provides the content. The circuit creates the journey.

Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited is a leading hospitality company in India that has a portfolio in more than 66 unique destinations, and over 3,800 keys operational. Sterling has resorts at some of India’s popular holiday destinations, including Alleppey, Amritsar, Anaikatti, Athirappilly, Ayodhya, Badami, Bokaro, Chail, Coorg, Corbett, Darjeeling, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Gangtok, Gir, Goa, Godavari, Guruvayur, Haridwar, Jagdalpur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kalimpong, Kanha, Kasauli, Karwar, Kodaikanal, Kufri, Lansdowne, Lonavala, Madurai, Malampuzha, Manali, Mohali, Mount Abu, Munnar, Mussoorie, Nainital, Ooty, Panchgani, Pench, Puri, Pushkar, Ranthambore, Rishikesh, Rudraprayag, Sakleshpur, Sariska, Sattal, Srinagar, Thekkady, Tipeshwar, Tiruvannamalai, Udaipur, Vellore, Vythiri, Wayanad, Yelagiri, and Yercaud.
