Sangeetha Mobiles to scout deep south thru 650 more stores

Mobile phone retail firm, Sangeetha Mobiles has decided to take franchise route to go beyond south in the country. The company has plans of opening more than 650 stores through the franchise route. The brand is looking for multi-unit and master franchisees both as an option for expansion.

While talking, L Subhash Chandra, MD of Sangeetha Mobiles said that they are very keen to explore the franchise model for business expansion. The brand will help in training and other support along with marketing to its franchise partner.

Sangeetha Mobiles has a good presence in north India with its exclusive multi-brand showroom. The entire south region of India has company owned stores of sangeetha mobiles, but the company has decided to take franchise route for its expansion in other parts of the country. Franchising benefits both, the local franchise as well as the brand.

Sangeetha Mobiles started their mobile phone retailing in the year 1996. The company is a Rs. 1000 crore entity as per today’s valuation. With the presence in states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puduchery, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, the company has more than 300 stores. The brand has store in every nook and corner of Karnataka state from where the brand started their journey of mobile phone retailing. With over 130 stores and some 1000 people working for Sangeetha Mobiles in Karnataka, the brand is now looking to expand in other states with same intensity and frequency.
