The 220-seat venue is informally separated into sections; visitors will enter a Cappadocia-style foyer with lofty ceilings that are simultaneously smooth and craggy. 

Bastian Empire is the first of the Bastian Hospitality properties to have an official 3 am closing license, which will be able to fill a void in Pune's nightlife sector by bringing excellent late-night vitality.

Bangalore’s loved café Paper & Pie has launched their newest outlet in the city at RMZ Ecoworld, Bellandur. 

The new outlet is spread across 2700 sq ft. and is situated on the ground floor of Avenue 32, RMZ Ecoworld. 

After seeing success in both Indiranagar and Whitefield outlets, Paper & Pie sets their sights on one of Bangalore’s most populous tech parks for their third outlet - looking to provide excellent coffee, global cuisine and an aesthetic space to the denizens of the tech campus, South Bangalore and beyond.

The restaurant's ambiance showcases eight private dining rooms that seamlessly fuse Japanese tatami and Western seating styles, such as Chikurin (Bamboo Forest), Bonsai, Ikebana, Samurai, Whiskey, Wine, Sake room, and Tachinomi Bar, paying tribute to Dharshan's Japanese heritage. The new interiors designed by Headlights Studio, a design firm from Delhi draw its inspiration from the black and white colonial-era infused with rich historical accents. The lavish Parisian outdoor patio, colonial architecture, vintage atmosphere, cosy ambience, delicately carved historical artefacts & statues, beautiful intricate chandeliers, and plush seats will make you want to stay still in the moment. The walls are lined with more than 150+ original B & W photographs sourced from renowned photographers like Madan Mahatta and various others, narrating a story of their own. All these photographs are curated by Delhi based gallery Blueprint 12.

Among these photographers, you might also spot a few familiar faces of prominent personalities like Raj Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, Pandit Ravi Shankar and even some rock idols like the Beatles, a testament to Gaylord’s rich legacy and irreplaceable charm. 

“Redesigning the space of this iconic restaurant was like a dream come true. It was a harmonious dance between honouring its rich history and infusing it with a fresh, contemporary flair. Every element is carefully curated, and every detail is meticulously crafted, to create an ambience that not only captivates the senses but also pays homage to the restaurant's enduring legacy while embracing the spirit of modernity,” shared Sidharth Srivastava, Design Principal at Headlights Studio.

The elegant fine-dining space is no stranger to setting new trends, from introducing formal ballroom dancing and live bands in the Jazz age in Mumbai to being the go-to social gathering hotspot for many Bollywood celebrities in the '60s, Gaylord has been an indispensable part of the city’s cultural fabric and keeps this tradition alive still. 

The revamped Gaylord space will host many cultural nights from live grand piano recitals, to live music events and specially curated hi-tea parties, a truly designated space for people of all ages. Klaa Kitchen, a Goan soul food through the lens of the Aaron household, has evolved into a cornerstone of flavors and community in Bangalore. 

What began as a reflection of Chef Rhea Aaron's passion to refine food experiences has transformed itself into a story rooted in stories of Goa, her family and a culinary history that dates back generations, brought into today through the careful hand of Chef Rhea.

Klaa Kitchen's journey commenced with its first pop-up in ECR Kovalam, led by Rhea Aaron with significant support from "Anna," her brother Varun Aaron, who assumed the role of sous chef. This event, nestled in a tiny fishermen’s village just outside Chennai provided the spark for what eventually became Klaa Kitchen. With the diners being enthralled by the Chef Rhea’s rich flavours and ability to dole out inventive yet comfortable plates, it started a series of such pop ups across the country which allowed for a sharpening of the story.

From there Chef Rhea traveled from Hyderabad at Glass Onion to Mysore with Sapa Bakery and Pondicherry with Bread and Chocolate. While the formats differed, it was the blending of her Goan heritage with her contemporary cooking style and ability to engage with audiences at a nearly familial level, was what created the building blocks for Klaa Kitchen. 

Along with these pop ups, Chef Rhea has continued to build a strong presence amongst the curious diners of the city of Bangalore with her pop ups, delivery menus and private catering which led to a strong customer base who were clamoring for her to open a space which they could visit whenever they wanted to. 

From there arose the idea of creating a space that was wholly a Klaa experience, derived from the many pop ups that defined the evolution of her cooking and the love received from the diners of the city.

Klaa Kitchen is today, a coming together of Chef Rhea Aaron’s vision for Goan food along with her brother Varun Aaron’s memories of growing up across the country but never forgetting the roots of their culinary destiny, along with restaurateur Bikash Parik who has been instrumental in bringing the entire concept together. 

Along with Rhea and her approach to creating a transformative Goan experience on the plate is her partner, Bikash Parik. He has been instrumental in creating one of the most iconic dining brands in the city with Green Theory and through his creative agency Little Green Studio, has shapend many brands narratives in the city and across the country.

Varun Aaron, Rhea’s brother and a huge inspiration behind the storytelling of the brand is a cricketer and has represented the Indian Cricket Team at the highest level. Amongst his many passions and endeavors currently, being the creative force along with Rhea for the brand and to tell the story of their family is a key driver of his every day.

Cerana Meads Launches Mead Taproom in Nashik
 

Cerana Meads, one of the country's leading mead brands, announces the launch of their taproom. 

Nestled in the heart of Nashik, this lakeside property offers a breathtaking 360° view of the majestic Sahyadri range, providing the perfect setting for indulging in a glass of mead – the oldest alcobev known to mankind.

The Cerana Taproom will feature a variety of meads available on tap, each bursting with flavour and character, with a menu curated specifically to pair with their meads. Mead flavours include pomegranate vanilla mead, chenin blanc mead, blue pea lavender mead, jamun mead, pinot noir pyment and yule spice mead. Additionally, they will soon launch flavours exclusively available at the taproom.
