Pizza Hut now on highways

Yum! Brands Inc, the company that owns Pizza Hut, plans to open outlets on the two busy national highways this year.

The company, which is on expansion mode, will open outlets of Pizza Hut on National Highway 1 (Delhi-Mumbai) and National Highway 8 (Delhi-Amritsar).

Speaking on the same, Sanjiv Razdan, General Manger, Pizza Hut India, said, "We would start three new Pizza Hut centres this year. We would open one of the highway centres very shortly.”

The outlets will be based on a franchise model with both sit-down and take-away options.
