Starbucks opened largest store in Korea on Friday at Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi.
The coffee chain is focusing on incorporating its wide variety of store formats into the new location, shared a report.
Spread across 1203 sqmt, the store is located near the Namhan river in the city.
The store will bring together the coffee shop chain's Reserve, a brand focused on freshly roasted single-origin coffees and tea with its specialized Teavana Bar and drive-thru.
This is the first time for a Korean Starbucks store to offer all three programs.
The three-story building is designed with glass walls. The first floor will be primarily used as a pick-up place for drive thru users, with the second floor dedicated to serving Reserve and Teavana bars.
Whereas, the third floor will own a rooftop space and rooms for staff.
Starbucks is also planning to invite local artists to hold musical performances on the rooftop.
Between the second and third floors is a space where customers can enjoy desserts and non-coffee drinks.
The coffee-chain operates around 1,430 stores in Korea.
