Sushi and More Completes 12 Years in India; Targets 200 Stores in 10 Years

Sushi and More, Japanese take-away and home delivery food brand, has successfully completed 12 years of revolutionizing the way Indians indulge in Japanese cuisine.

This ambitious plan seeks to grow from the solid foundations that have been built by the Sushi and More team in the last 12 years.

The brand is also planning to open200 stores within the next decade.

“12 years, according to Japanese and Asian traditions is “one full cycle”. As we start our next 12 year cycle, the second cycle, we are excited about the endless opportunities in India” said Harry Hakuei Kosato, the man behind the brand.

Founded by Japanese entrepreneur, who has recently been honoured as a Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador by the Japanese government, has emerged as a pioneer in the industry, consistently meeting the evolving needs of its thousands of customers and contributing to the growth and promotion of Japanese food and ingredients in India.

“Our growth strategy aims to meet the increasing demand for authentic affordable Japanese sushi - including Veg, Non-vegetarian, and Jain preparations - aiming to introduce more Indians to the health benefits, uniqueness, and exquisite taste of sushi. Moreover, the hope is that we start to introduce more of the “More” found in the “Sushi and More” brand name. In fact, Japanese cuisine is quite diverse, with many types of dishes other than sushi, with in fact more than a few hundred varieties of Japanese food dishes, which we hope to introduce to India step by step”, concluded Kosato.

Their Cloud Kitchen in Juhu, Mumbai is complemented by shop-in-shop kiosks at The Quorum Club both in Gurgaon and Mumbai, FoodHall, and FreshPik at BKC.
