Mallya: Will expand where we have a strong real estate presence

On the sidelines of the book launch of Capt. Gopinath (founder of Air Deccan), ‘Simply Fly’ that narrates his journey, Vijay Mallya, Chairman of the UB Group told Retailer that he is quite happy with the way The Collection (his luxury retail mall) has been received in Bangalore and will emulate it at the places where his company has got a strong real estate presence.  Though the company has no immediate plans of expansion. The launch took place at The Claridges, Delhi on February 23, 2010. Also present at the event was Praful Patel, the Civil Aviation Minister.
