Raheja group plans luxury market foray

The K Raheja group is looking at making a foray in the luxury market. The group, which is riding high on the premium retail segment with Shoppers Stop, is now looking at taking a step higher on the retail front with luxury brands. The company has set aside some retail space at their upcoming hotel near Mumbai's new airport and are in talks with luxury brands for this space. The hotel is likely to be run by the Marriott group. The company plans to start small before going forward with a full fledged mall.
