Blissclub Forays into Offline Space, Opens 2 EBOs in Mumbai and Bengaluru

Blissclub has opened a new premium exclusive brand store at Infinity Mall, Malad, Mumbai, and HSR Layout, Sector 6, Bangalore. The move marks the D2C company’s major entry into the offline retail space, after seeing immense success with its e-commerce business, hitting a Rs 100 crore ARR in less than 2 years since its founding. Offline retail is the next big bet and growth lever for Blissclub in 2023, to augment its already large e-commerce presence. 

Another key reason for breaking into an offline retail presence is so that Blissclub’s signature fabrics and innovative product design can be physically experienced by customers. The look and feel of their fabrics and products will give customers the trial experience they have been asking for. 

The company plans on opening close to 20 offline stores this year, across India. The stores will be in malls, high streets, and as pop-ups, standalone stores, or as part of multi-brand outlets. 

Offline retail is a big bet for us in 2023 and as a young company, we are so excited to break into this space in just 2 years of creating incredible products in the e-commerce space. While e-commerce is a growing and important part of the mix, we know that in India, many women enjoy an offline shopping experience as well. We want to get even closer to our customers – for all the trust they have placed in us as an e-commerce business, we are now building in the offline space so that we can connect with them in person and deepen their experience with us via product and community events,” said Minu Margeret, Founder, and CEO of Blissclub.

Staying true to the brand, the offline stores will also be a center for experiences for Blissclub customers - where its community of women movers - can come in regularly to meet, interact and find ways to #KeepMoving. The Mumbai store launch on 23rd January saw a host of influencers attending, including editors from the fashion and lifestyle media as well as bloggers. 

The Bengaluru store launch saw influencers like Sarayu Hegde, Sonali Swamy, and others attending the launch event, as well as live community events for WARRIOR RhythmTM and dance fitness.
