RS Sodhi Resigns as Amul MD Jayen Mehta to Take Interim Charge

RS Sodhi on Monday stepped down as the Managing Director of Amul Ltd and will be replaced by Jayen Mehta in the interim. 

Mehta is the COO of GCMMF, 

Sodhi had been the Managing Director of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) since June 2010 and is the President of the Indian Dairy Association.

He reportedly added that he has resigned from the post of MD stating, “I was on extension. The board has accepted my resignation."

GCMMF markets milk under the Amul brand.
