Allied Blenders & Distillers Appointed Jayathirtha Mukund as Head of Investor Relations & Chief Risk Officer

Allied Blenders & Distillers, known for producing Officer's Choice whiskey and Jolly Roger rum, announced the appointment of Jayathirtha Mukund as the head of investor relations and chief risk officer.

The company is currently preparing for the launch of its initial public offering.

Mukund's role will encompass overseeing investor relations, managing risk protocols, and directing environmental, social, and governance reporting.

Additionally, his expertise will play a crucial role in refining the company's risk strategies and promoting compliance best practices.

Alok Gupta, the managing director of Allied Blenders & Distillers, expressed in a statement the company's commitment to being prepared for the future and extended a warm welcome to Mukund as he joins the team.

Previously, Mukund held positions at Raymond, Reliance Communications, Adventity Global Services, Vodafone Essar, Stratcap Securities (India), and Zuari Cement.

Allied Blenders & Distillers stands as the foremost Indian-owned producer of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) in the nation. It held the position as the third largest IMFL company in India based on annual sales volumes from FY14 to FY22.
