BrewDog brings craft beer to Amritsar

BrewDog, an international craft beer brand, opened its first outlet in Punjab, Amritsar.

The outlet is located in the upscale Ranjeet Avenue and spans over 8500 square feet across two floors, featuring 24 craft beers.

BrewDog Amritsar offers a selection of well-known international beers including lagers, IPAs, and wheat beers.

Visitors can choose from a carefully selected range that includes popular options such as Hazy Jane, Punk IPA, Elvis Juice, Arcade Made, Lost Lager, and many others.

“As part of our India expansion, Amritsar is a key location for the brand. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the space, making it vibrant, cosy and welcoming, while keeping it consistent with the international experience. We are keen to take the craft beer experience to even more cities across India.” said Mr. Rohit Jain, Chairman, BrewDog India, AIBPL

BrewDog Amritsar is the first pet-friendly bar in the city and has been designed by a reputed design firm in the country, Sumesh Menon and Associates.

Along with serving craft beer, the bar will also have a specialty coffee bar named Habitat Coffee House.

“We bring a diverse variety of craft beers on tap which will be a great attraction for beer enthusiasts. Punjab has been our choice in our current leg of expansion given the evolving food and beverage scenario and an evolved consumer base.” said Karan Jain, CEO, BrewDog India, AIBPL

In addition to the BrewDog signature menu, the bar will also offer a range of regionally-inspired dishes.

These include options such as Phulka Tacos, Mutton Chapli Burgers, Korean BBQ Chicken Burger, Thai Basil Fish Tikka, Gochujang Lotus Stem, Dahiwala Dhaba Meat, and Dum Ki Daal and many more.

Aloha International BrewPub, led by Chairman Mr. Rohit Jain, has facilitated BrewDog's expansion into India.

With two thriving outlets in Mumbai and one in Gurugram, the brand has plans to launch 25 more pubs across the country.

Globally, BrewDog has made strides in the last ten years with over 200,000 crowdfunded shareholders, five breweries on three continents, and distribution to more than 80 markets.
