The well-known Rameshwaram Cafe in Bangalore continues to thrive, even after a recent bomb blast, by introducing a new food truck. This traditional South Indian food outlet is now trending due to the launch of "Rameshwaram On Wheels," a mobile kitchen designed to cater to various events.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen, the food truck can prepare 120 idlis at a time and can be customized for corporate or personal gatherings. Despite the recent challenges, the cafe remains a popular destination for its traditional fare.
Rameshwaram Cafe reportedly earns Rs 4.5 crore per month, with annual revenue exceeding Rs 50 crore. Founders Divya and Raghavendra Rao, who met through a mutual friend, opened their first branch in Indiranagar in 2021. They have not only captivated customers with their culinary offerings but also created a significant social impact by employing over 200 people.
