Funskool India’s focus on domestic growth through partnerships with international brands aligns with the new regulations on mandatory certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for toy imports.

Among the newly-launched games is Tornado Force, an electronic game suitable for children above 6 years, simulating 'real wind' to protect a herd of sheep.

This is the first time any Indian manufacturer has bagged the rights for Rubik?s cube from its license holder and global children?s entertainment company Spin Master.

The BIS standardization was made mandatory for all toys designed or intended for use in play by children below 14 years of age, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
