“We feel great about bringing the iconic Sadar Bazaar online that we had taken to the Heart of Delhi. Sadar Bazaar deals with its vendors PAN India. On the other hand, we feel a great responsibility to deliver quality goods to customers across India”, asserted Nitin Goel, co-founder, Sadar24. 

“In the beginning, the path looked daunting. It was challenging to meet the expectations and trust of customers who have been regular customers of the Sadar Bazaar market. However, we were confident about the strategy and received an overwhelming response to the Sadar24 website from the very first day it was launched,” he further added.

The platform has been designed and developed keeping the needs and benefits of vendors and customers in mind. 

“Therefore, when we talk about vendors, we provide the simplicity of work by requiring the least amount of registration data, and the commission model used across all categories makes it simple for vendors to use and comprehend. To provide customers with quality and a wide variety of goods at a reasonable price, we are focusing on Tier II, III, and IV cities currently. The brand uses different marketing channels like Google, Facebook, and YouTube to increase its visibility and sales. 

“Additionally, we also do outdoor marketing such as billboards, hoardings, etc. in the major markets to promote the brand and create a strong connection with the consumers and merchants. 

Offering the Best at Guaranteed Lowest Prices

Sadar24 offers a huge and diversified product portfolio of more than 1 lakh SKUs in categories ranging from fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, toys, men's and women's apparel, and kitchenware. Moving forward, it plans to expand its product portfolio with the addition of new categories and products.

“Since our platform does not charge any commission from vendors, the sellers help by offering their absolute lowest prices on the platform, which results in the lowest price offering for the buyer. Secondly, whenever a vendor lists a new product or our auditor team which publishes the products it also compares the rates and specifications of related products on other platforms and notifies them if there is a difference in rates. This way, we can guarantee that the customer receives the product for the lowest price possible,” informed Goel.

Future Plans

In the year 2021, Sadar24 began operating at a profit. On the first day, the sale began at only Rs 26,000 and the year ended with a Rs 5 million profit. With the right strategies and aggressive marketing in place, the brand has generated Rs 25 million profit in the first half of this year and its goal is to end the year with Rs 70 million profit. 

“By 2026, we target to touch Rs 1,000 million in turnover,” he asserted.

Currently, the brand has vendors from 12 states, and items are shipped to 20,500+ pin codes in India. 

“Going ahead, we will cover India laterally as well as vertically as we are seeking vendors from all of the Indian states, cities, and villages”, he concluded.
