Vinar Systems Pvt. Ltd, Sarda Retails Ltd, R G Fashions, Vishal Retails Ltd, Bazaar Kolkata, etc. The company enjoys a major share in the markets of eastern India and Andhra Pradesh. As a part of the business strategy the company intends to expand the production capacity of conveyor chains and install modern plastic extrusion machines.

Lion Picture & Frames (India) Ltd is the largest picture framing company in India. They import display fittings & special purpose racks for their stores and warehouses. The tie-up with Archana Engineering has been very fruitful as their requirements are now being handled locally.

Solution provided

Archana Engineering made special display stand and browser fittings to display framed pictures and art prints in all the show rooms of Lion India successfully. These items were previously imported from Europe. A lot of hassles are involved in importing these products and the lead time used to be high. Archana Engineering has also developed movable display counter for picture frames in CKD (Complete Knocked Down) formats which can be shipped to any picture framing gallery easily to any part of India.

Benefit

The product quality was comparable with imported products. It can be customised and made with certain change as per the client’s needs. Timely supply of these fixtures resulted in saving on account of cost and foreign exchange. Benefit of local source also helped in maintaining a lower inventory level.

Archana Engineering with help of Lion India is developing special design unit to display readymade photo frames and framed art for Art & Picture Framing Gallery. The plans are to export these display units to Europe and the US with full conviction that they can compete very much with respect to price, at the same time keep the international high standard of quality.
