Case Study

Toujours is the ultimate destination for delicate tastebuds, with an enviably delicious collection of tea cakes, bakes and much more. The brief to Leaf Design was simple - to bring alive the upmarket French flavours and style of the retail store, inside the store and in its complete communication design, displays and packaging. The wholeness of the offerings needed to be reflected in each design element. The store covers an area of 600 sq ft.

 Solution provided

Toujours required the lavish fullness of French delicacy which was recreated in each corner of its retail store design, ambience, colours and words of the communication design including the graceful packaging design. This was done keeping the complete ‘French Origine’ of each creation in mind. Each element was infused with a world of French panache so as to leave an indelible impression on the minds of the customers.

Gold and deep brown packaging created a classy feel, and tags with interesting lines ignited curiosity and interest. From the ambience of the retail store which included counter displays, window displays and background walls - to the communication design and packaging design, it was ensured that the whole look melded smoothly with the discerning customers it intended to attract.

“Toujours presented a rare case to us that both challenged and excited us. Optimum use of the space was critical as were the singularity of the look and feel of the store ambience and communication and packaging designs. Toujours was its own inspiration as we created a design that rode the fine balance between exclusivity and appeal.”
