RSG Group, which was incorporated in 2007, is engaged in developing and constructing shopping malls, multiplexes, residential complexes, group housing, townships, hotels, corporate offices etc. With an aim to build a new and dynamic India, they have extended their projects to many states. The company was into liquor business and indulged in other contracts as well for the last 20 years before diversifying into real estate sector.

 

Retail and hospitality projects

The company has launched a shopping mall “Lakecity Mall” with a multiplex and a hotel in Udaipur. Simultaneously, they have also started two premium residential apartments in Udaipur and a huge eco project “RSG’s The Universe”, in which some features like personal swimming pool and car deck on the floor, is launched first time in North India with a 5 star hotel & a club house.

Moreover, in Jaipur, they have launched two commercial projects: Elements Mall at main Ajmer Road having Five elements, ie, shop, eat, fun, movie and work, and Precious Mall at Moti Dungari that specialises in electronics.

Shyam B Gupta, Director, RSG informs further, “The company is also coming up with a magnificent shopping mall named Palm Island on main Akhnoor Road. Also, we are offering luxury living at Royal Palms”.

 

USP and the criteria for selecting the location

A state-of- the art structure at prime location attracts good demand and gives tremendous returns to the developer and retailer. Keeping this in mind, the company analyses the demand, current offerings, timing, competition, demographic parameters, spending culture and investment culture of that locality along with the model that would be more successful, be it a lease model, a franchising model or a revenue-share model. And after doing in-depth analysis, the company selects the site.

“We target small cities which provide a first-movers advantages and this un-tapped market is advantageous for everyone. As metros and other big cities are already oversupplied, so it is balancing the locations between big cities and small cities”, Gupta explains logically their criteria of choosing a location.

 

Strategy behind a perfect tenant mix

As a builder, they believe in finding the balance between international brands and local brands. Like in tier II, III and IV cities, they prefer company outlet. They also facilitate the meeting between interested business investors and reputed brands for sub-lease/franchise deals. Moreover, the perfect concoction of shopping, food court, fun zone, banquet hall, multiplex, corporate offices etc make their malls an added attraction.

 

 

Facilities and Amenities

Conveniently, the malls are equipped with air-conditioners, escalators, elevators, capsule lifts, power backups, security system, fire fighting arrangements, etc and aligned with a proper parking space.

 

Future projects

They are coming up in many places like Bhilwara, Jhunjhunu, Pushkar, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, New Delhi, Beawer, Ajmer, etc. As an added attraction, they are launching the tallest building of Rajasthan called “Sky 25” which would be a residential project.
