The situation

Crocs, Inc. required an innovative IT system as part of a larger business strategy to support its global sales and supply chain network, and to provide a holistic view into the entire supply chain.

Crocs deployed Oracle SOA Suite 11g to enhance global, multi-channel Business with access to real-time data from enterprise applications.

The implementation

Crocs employs Oracle SOA Suite 11g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack 11g Release 1, which ensure access to real-time data from its order management, strategic sourcing and supply chain systems that support its global, multi-channel distribution system.

Crocs is leveraging the standards-based infrastructure and comprehensive connectivity of Oracle SOA Suite 11g to seamlessly integrate six disparate enterprise applications, including warehouse and order management systems, retail point of sale and merchandising systems, e-commerce and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

Now, Crocs can support its diverse retail, internet and wholesale business channels that span 363 Crocs retail locations globally, several e-commerce sites around the world and thousands of wholesale and distributor customers.

The solution is live in the Americas and Asia with further rollouts scheduled for completion by 2011.
