Aggressive expansion plans

Shubh Jewellers, a venture from the house of Rajesh Exports, plans to rake up expansion in the south with a target of opening 500 stores. O n the account of Akshaya Tritiya, 20 new stores were opened across Karnataka. With the opening of these 20 stores, the store count for the brand has reached 76 for Karnataka itself and a total of 80 across India. The company presently operates in 41,200 sq. ft of retail space and plans to add about 12,700 sq. ft more in the near future. The company continues to consolidate its position in retail business with expansion of the 'Retail Gold Revolution' launched by the company. The company is looking forward to an aggressive retail expansion plan, which would be the main driver for the incremental profitability in the quarters to follow.
