Amul to launch camel milk in 200 ml pet bottles

Amul will launch camel milk in size of 200 ml pet bottles, first of its kind in India, within a week. The 200 ml pet bottles are priced at Rs 25 per bottle.

RS Sodhi, Managing Director of Amul, said, “The camel milk’s 200 ml pet bottles are being manufactured in the state-of-art manufacturing facility of Amul dairy in Gandhinagar.”

Before this, in January 2019, Amul had introduced camel milk 500 ml in pet bottle. It was priced at Rs 50 per bottle.

Formed in 1948, Amul is a cooperative brand managed by a cooperative body, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF).
