Basecamp: Opens in Thane

The multi-brand outlet, Basecamp, has made its entry at Korum Mall in Thane. Spread
over an area of 304 sq ft, the store has various travel gear products to offer. It suffices
the need of travellers by offering products such as business cases, Swiss army knives,
camping gear, flash lights, portable water purifiers etc.

The company has invested a sum of Rs 22 lakh on the store. At present, it is receiving
a return on investment (ROI) of about 18 per cent from the stores spread pan India. The
mall has been promoted through social networking medium such as Facebook, Twitter
etc.

With the opening of the store at Korum Mall, Basecamp now has five outlets in India –
two in Delhi and one each in Thane, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The brand is focusing on
steadily expanding its presence across India.
