Bharti Airtel, India's leading telecom services provider, has introduced its 100th Next-Gen Airtel store in India with the launching of the new format store at Park Street, Kolkata. With this new launch, three new format stores are now open in Kolkata.
Airtel is planning to roll out 10 Next-Gen stores across Kolkata and other major cities across West Bengal over the coming months.
Vir Inder Nath, CEO (Retail), Bharti Airtel, said, "We are delighted to launch our Next-Gen store format in Kolkata and bring the next level of retail experience to our customers. After having its presence felt in a big way, in the northern part of the country, Bharti Retail, the wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Enterprises, is now planning to expand to southern India by 2011.
