World’s largest everyday footwear brand Clarks has launched itself in India. This has been achieved under the collaboration with the Future Group, India’s biggest retailer. Clarks Future Footwear Ltd.(CFFL) is planning to open 20 stand alone stores by the end of this year. Clarks provides products across genders and has portfolio for all masses. Present on the occasion Mr. S.Ramprasad, CEO,CFFL said” We aim to make available world class shoes to the Indian consumer, encapsulating the unique brand proposition of Clarks”,” India is a very important market for us, we have done extensive research in the past years to understand the complex Indian market”. Mr. Andrew Martland, Director, International Development, Clarks International, said. With an impressive background, Clarks enter India with a lot of reputation at stake. Their first stand alone stores ranging about 1600 sq.ft will be signs of things to come for the brand in the country. With such a wide range of product classification worldwide, one can expect an encouraging initial years for the company.
