Fila plans to launch 100 stores in India in 5 years

Fila is looking to launch 100 stores in India in the next five years. Italian sportswear brand reported a 107% jump in revenue for the year with topline growth of 68%.

At present, Fila has nine stores in the country. The west and the south are strong markets for the sportswear brand, growing at about 50%.

Fila is generating 35% sales online. Currently, the brand sells products through third-party e-tailers like Myntra, Jabong, Amazon, among others. It plans to launch own e-commerce platform as well.

Cravatex is having a long-term exclusive licensing agreement with Fila for markets like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan. Fila is operating in over 70 countries worldwide, with 37 licensees.
