FreeCharge to enable millions in Andhra Pradesh to go cashless
FreeCharge, one of India's fastest growing digital payments platforms, has announced its partnership with Andhra Government to be part of the 'AP Purse' initiative of the government. 
'AP Purse' is a state government initiative to help consumers make convenient and effective use of digital payments, including mobile wallets.
It is a folder which contains various payment apps and tools designed to enable citizens to start using digital payments in a ready and convenient manner. Users and merchants will be able to download the "AP Purse" and access and install the required apps.

With more and more people using digital payments, there will be enhanced awareness on the ease and benefits of the same. At FreeCharge, we are proud to partner with the AP government in their mission to move payments from cash to digital currency." 
In a recent tie-up it has signed up to be present at more than 53,000 petrol pumps across the country. Users will also be able to pay for LPG deliveries using FreeCharge.
