House of Technology (HOT), a project by Unique Infoways, have opened their first 24x7 IT and electronics marketplace. Spread across 40,000 sq ft, the store has opened at Nehru Place Metro Station. While Nehru Place is a hub of electronics and IT, this is the first time that metro station has been leveraged as a location.Customer service and consumption patterns being the key, the retailer has come up with the concept of electronic cards. These electronic cards will be given to every shopper and will thus as an ongoing process will track their consumption pattern. They will also come up with an unique MIS reports revealing customer behavior and buying patterns.Unique in various ways the store will offer services including on the spot finance & free delivery; customized post sales support solutions; exclusive car parking facility for 250 vehicles among others. HOT has obtained a license to remain open till 2 AM and is on its way to obtain a 24 hour operation license. HOT expects 12,000 footfalls daily and a sales target of Rs 20 crore per month. Vipul Jain, CEO and Director of Unique Infoways commented “Our target audience includes a wide spectrum aging from 6-70 years and not just those in Delhi/NCR but also the tourists who visit India. HOT not only houses plenty of brands but also gives brands a platform to conduct pre and post product launch surveys”.
