Koutons Retail felicitated with the ‘Emerging Corporate of the year’ award

The leading manufacturer of readymade and stylish fashion wear brand in the country, Koutons Retail India Ltd, was felicitated as the “Emerging Corporate” at the Corp Excel National mSME Excellence Awards organised by the Corporation Bank. The award was presented by Union Finance Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee. DPS Kohli, Chairman, Koutons Retail India Ltd was present to receive the award, at the event held at the Vigyan Bhawan. 

Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, an affiliate of Nitte Education Trust, Nitte, Karnataka and M/s Haribhakti Associates, Mumbai, were appointed as the process validator in order to keep the selection process a transparent activity. The short listing was done on four parameters, ‘Sales, Net Profit, RON and ROC.’ However the final selection of the awardees was done by a jury comprising of eminent personalities which included Kishore Biyani, Group Chief Executive Officer, Future Group, Dr. Manoj Vaish, President and CEO - India, Dun and Bradstreet Information Services India Pvt. Ltd, R. M. Malla, Chairman and Managing Director, Small Industries Development Bank of India, Roopa Kudva, Managing Director and CEO, CRISIL Ltd, Rajesh Dubey, Managing Director and CEO, SME Rating Agency of India Ltd, T. N. Ninan, Editor and Publisher of Business Standard Ltd amongst others.
