Linen Club now in Gurgaon

Premium fabric unit of the Aditya Birla Group, Nuvo Ltd, has launched its first exclusive showroom in Gurgaon. The showroom offers a wide range of linen fabric and ready-to-wear garments. Also available at the outlet are accessories, such as laptop bags, ladies’ bags, stoles, etc. Abhey Nair, Sr Vice President, Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd, said, “Linen club is a well known brand across people who recognise exclusivity and respect the quality of linen. Gurgaon has grown as a city in the past couple of years and we feel that our presence in the city is an effort to establish ourselves in this part of Delhi-NCR.”

Spread across 1,400 sq ft, the store offers linen fabrics at all price points. Primarily targeting the A+ and A++ segments, the brand also has affordable priced linen at Rs 500-600, which can go as high as Rs 1,000. “Tailoring is a dying breed in this country, youngsters are not comfortable working in this profile, hence the need to develop and encourage skilled workforce is our mission, for which we provide training to young tailors at our Madura Garments factory. They are then sent to Europe to understand the basics of handmade linen fabrics,” Nair added. The linen is sourced from Belgium, France and other European countries. The company accumulates close to Rs 600 crore revenue, growing at 14-15 per cent year-on-year. This is their 59^th store in India, with the majority of stores spread across the south and west regions.
