METRO Cash & Carry India recently organised its first ‘METRO Bandhan Super Trader Meet’ in New Delhi, which saw over 200 local traders as participants. 

METRO Trader Support programme is custom designed to support local traders by understanding their business needs, identifying growth opportunities and offering customised solutions on product assortment, layout and display, stocking and promotion related solutions. Talking about the programme, Ajay Sheodaan, Director, Customer Management, METRO Cash & Carry India, said, “Through this Super Trader programme, we aim to reach out to local kiranas with trainings to help them become more competitive in the market. METRO has already conducted similar Trader Support and Training programmes in other cities across India, which have helped the local kiranas identify and plug gaps and grow their business in turn.” 

This programme is a part of 'METRO Bandhan', an exclusive loyalty initiative, which offers a range of privileges and value added services to Bandhan members. There are two levels of membership – silver and gold, depending on the customer's engagement level with METRO, purchase amounts, frequency of purchases and the range of products purchased.
