Major Brands India eyes to double retail network in 4 years

Major Brands India is looking to double its retail network in four years. As part of its expansion plans, the company will launch outlets in major cities and go into Tier II cities.

Major Brands, a leading franchisee for premier international fashion brands, represent several global lifestyle brand products in India. It has unveiled brands like Aldo, Aldo Accessories, Charles & Keith, and Inglot, to name a few, in the country.

Major Brands also looks to get into the gifting segment for which it is in discussions with corporates.

At present, Major Brands has 160 standalone outlets for different brands. Additionally, it is also present in several big retail outlets under the shop-in-shop model.

Major Brands has a significant presence in Chennai. This is because the firm sees Chennai as an upcoming city with a great mix of a cosmopolitan crowd, a growing market for beauty and essentials.

Major Brands is likely to open its next store in July at VR Chennai. Post this, another outlet will be launched in Pune, followed by more stores in Mumbai and Delhi.
