Maruti targets 1,500 sales outlets in 5 years

Country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is anticipating to grow its numbers of sales outlets to 1,500 in the next 5 years.

At present, the company has around 828 sales outlets and there are roadmaps to double the digits of these outlets pan India in the coming 5 years.

The endeavour of Maruti was to have presence in all districts and taluks. 'We try to identify the socio economic conditions of a particular area, two-wheeler sales and based on that work out a strategy to start outlets, General Manager (Marketing and Sales), Partho Banerjee.

Statistics say that maruti sells 8000 cars per month in Kerela and has around 59 outlets. This time they are planning to increase the number to 100.
