Metro Shoes has opened its first store in Karnal, Haryana on Kunjpura Road. The store is spread over 1,465 sq.ft. and the outlet stocks more than 11,500 pairs of footwear for both men and women by brands such as Florsheim, Lee Cooper, Red Tape, Bulchee, Fila, Franco Leone, and Ganuchi. Jairaj Kapoor, Regional Manager, Metro Shoes, said on the occasion that the Haryana footwear market has tremendous opportunity and that the growing need for stylish accessories made Karnal a perfect location for a Metro Shoes store. The retailer hopes to reach out to a wider base and provide fashionable solutions to all. According to the company officials, the store will house over 100 pairs of new designs every week. The outlet will cater to nearby areas such as Panipat, Sonipat, and Kurukshetra. Metro Shoes opened its first store in Mumbai in 1947. The company operates as an MBO across tier I, II, and III markets. Men’s and women’s accessories such as handbags, wallets, belts and shoe care products ranging from Rs 300 are also available at its stores.
