Leading fashion e-retailer Myntra has introduced plus-size clothes for women under its own brands, as part of its strategy to improve margins and gain market share in this segment. This range is priced from Rs 900.
Plans are also on the anvil to launch a similar collection for men later this year.
Ganesh Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer, Myntra, in a recent media interaction, said, “ Most retailers offer only larger sizes rather than design products specifically for this category. We didn’t have this category and it fills a gap in our portfolio.”
