Natural Growers planning for bottling units in India

The US-based Natural Growers, which is the second largest orange juice producer in the US, is about to acquire a land near Kandla port for setting up a bottling plant. The company recently launched fruit juices called ‘Florida's Natural' in Mumbai.

Mr Rajan Warrier, Managing Director, Fresh N Natural Foods India, said the parent company plans to set up storage and bottling facilities across the country. The company is in the process of acquiring land in port cities for the purpose. Besides Kandla, the company is also keen on setting up facilities in Chennai. On the price front, he said, “We are not in the price-competitive market. It is a premium range product, which will cost about Rs 300 for 1.89 litres.”
