Olympus Imaging India announces the appointment of Kenichiro Mori as its new Managing Director, overseeing Olympus Imaging Corporation’s operations in the region with effect from September 1st, 2012. Mori will be responsible for spearheading the overall growth and profitability of the company within the region, by driving robust business strategy, providing thought leadership and guiding excellence in market performance across all categories.

Kenichiro Mori has over 14 years of diversified experience in Olympus right from the sales of Microscopes and its accessories, to the sales, marketing and communication of the various product categories within the Imaging business. His focus and leadership abilities have helped him acquire the position of Regional Manager in Germany and later Division Manager, Consumer Division in Russia. During his tenure, Mr. Mori honed his expertise across various markets including Europe, Asia and Middle Eastern countries. His vast experience has helped him lead the business with the right focus and facilitate the development of the segment.

Announcing this change over, Toshiaki Gomi, Division Manager (Head of Global Sales) & Member of the Board, Olympus Imaging Corporation said, "Within India, we are in the midst of making a constructive difference to the market through our core efficiencies and technological excellence.
