Pantaloon inks JV with shoemaker C&J Clark

Pantaloon Retail has announced that it has signed an agreement of 50:50 joint venture with UK-based footwear major C&J Clark International for single brand retail and wholesale trading in India.

The joint venture would engage in wholesale business of Clarks branded footwear and associated products in India. The joint venture activities would be carried out by a separate joint venture company.

C & J Clark is one of the largest makers of casual shoes in the world, manufacturing brands like Clarks, Bostonian, and K Shoes.
