PepsiCo India's President quits

PepsiCo India recently announced that Manu Anand, its India region president, has quit with immediate effect. Anand had worked for 19 years with this cola major and became chairman of its operations here in January ’11. A PepsiCo India spokesperson said, "Manu Anand has decided to join another company and his successor will be announced in due course." This development comes a few days after arch rival Coca Cola announced that Atul Singh, India and West Asia Chief Executive Officer and President, has been promoted as deputy president of company's Asia Pacific group, with effect from July 1.
